Após mudanças radicais em toda a sua linha, inclusive na tradicionalíssima Classe E, a Mercedes-Benz avisa que a sua primeira variante de alta performance está a caminho, mas só chegará na Europa e EUA em setembro deste ano. O poderoso Mercedes-Benz E43 AMG 4Matic virá equipado com o novo motor V6/3.0 biturbo. Os dois turbocompressores ajudam a entregar 401 hp de potência máxima e torque de quase 52 kgf.m. Esse espetacular sedã alemão vem com tração integral e distribuição ´inteligente´ de torque com força de 31% nas rodas traseiras e 69% no eixo dianteiro.
Segundo a assessoria do fabricante teutônico, a transmissão automática 9G-Tronic nesse modelo foi recalibrada para oferecer trocas de marchas mais curtas, do mesmo modo que a suspensão esportiva a ar e a relação de direção foram alteradas para demonstrar um comportamento mais dinâmico. A suspensão está mais firme e as respostas ao volante, mais diretas.
Estilo >> O visual do novo E43 4Matic já o torna facilmente reconhecível como um membro da família AMG. Há três grandes aberturas no parachoque dianteiro que garantem um fluxo ideal de ar para os radiadores. A grade frontal pintada em preto com ´pinos´ brilhantes dão uma aparência feroz à frente do sedã. Na lateral é impossível não perceber a beleza das rodas de liga leve com 19 polegadas (também pintadas em preto). Na traseira, as ponteiras do escapamento cromadas transmitem uma estética muito particular a este esportivo.
Interior >> Por dentro o novo Mercedes-Benz E43 AMG 4Matic está mais requintado do que nas gerações anteriores. Os bancos esportivos possuem apoios laterais ainda mais proeminentes, o que garante firmeza em curvas de alta velocidade e são recobertos em tecido ´Artico´ ou opcionalmente em couro.
