Doze estagiários da Volkswagen e da empresa Sitech Sitztechnik apresentaram na Áustria, durante um encontro internacional de fãs do Golf GTi, a versão Heartbeat Concept. O modelo especial é mais um criado para celebrar os 40 anos desse ícone esportivo da VW. O feroz GTi recebeu diversas modificações, dentre elas um incremento mecânico que elevou a potência do bólido de 220 para 400 hp.
Com um sistema de som fantástico (de 1.360 watts!), o esportivo ganhou pintura com um esquema de cores contrastantes com um design que destaca um favo de mel e outros símbolos que representam batimentos cardíacos. Esse Golf GTi demorou nove meses para ficar pronto e surgiu a partir de ideias desenvolvidas por estagiários aprendizes com idades entre 20 e 26 anos.
Casca >> A pintura básica do modelo de duas portas é o prata metálico. O teto e a parte frontal foram cobertos por cinza escuro. Já os “favos de mel” do GTi Heartbeat foram pintados em vermelho brilhante. Toda a pintura foi programada para marcar a transição da escuridão para a luz, sendo bem aparente tanto de dia quanto à noite. As rodas de alumínio do tipo BBS têm 20 polegadas e ganharam pneus mais largos que os originais na medida 235/35/20.
Por dentro >> A parte dianteira do habitáculo é dominada por dois assentos dobráveis do Golf GTi Clubsport S. Os bancos em concha são cinzas e foram decorados com um ´40´ sobre o encosto de cabeça. Símbolos de batimentos cardíacos decoram a forração das portas e da guarnição acima do porta-luvas. Em vez de bancos traseiros e espaço para bagagens, a traseira do carro possui um sistema de som de alta-fidelidade com 1.360 watts de sete alto-falantes e um sistema HIFI especial com iluminação LED e tampas de vidro.
A Volkswagen disse que esse exercício de criatividade no Golf GTi Heartbeat serviu como um ótimo estágio para os jovens aprendizes que estão treinando para serem montadores de interiores de veículos, técnicos de pintura, mecânica e eletrônica, assim como especialistas em design e demais ramos de engenharia. You’re a fan of the Golf GTi, meet version ´Heartbeat Concept´ >> Twelve interns from Volkswagen and Sitech Sitztechnik presented in Austria, during an international meeting of fans of Golf GTi, the Heartbeat version Concept. The special model is more a created to celebrate the 40 years that VW sports icon.
The fierce GTi received several modifications, including a mechanic who raised the power of 220 to 400 hp of bolide with a fantastic sound system (of 1360 watts!), the sporty won painting with a contrasting color scheme with a design that emphasizes a honeycomb and other symbols that represent heartbeat. This Golf GTi took nine months to get ready and came from ideas developed by trainees apprentices aged between 20 and 26 years.
Shell >> Basic painting of the two-door model is the metallic silver. The roof and the front were covered by dark grey. Already the “honeycomb” the GTi Heartbeat were painted in bright red. The whole painting was scheduled to mark the transition from darkness to the light, being well apparent day as night. Type aluminum wheels have 20 inch BBS and gained wider tires than the original (235/35/20).
Inside >> The front of the cabin is dominated by two folding seats of the Golf GTi Clubsport s. Shell banks are ashes and were decorated with a ´40´ on the headrest. Heartbeat symbols decorate the lining of the doors and trim above the glove box. Instead of rear seats and luggage space, the rear of the car has a system of high-fidelity sound with 1.360 watts seven speakers and a HIFI System with LED lighting and glass covers.
Volkswagen said that this exercise of creativity in the Golf GTi Heartbeat served as a great stage for the young apprentices who are training to be interior vehicle assemblers, technicians, mechanics and electronics, as well as specialists in design and other branches of engineering.
