Em 2007, como alternativa para os clientes que não se contentavam com o A4, mas achavam a família A6 muito grande, a Audi decidiu ampliar o seu line-up criando o A5. O modelo logo tornou-se um sucesso e agora, nove anos depois, o fabricante alemão lança a segunda geração dessa família que está mais leve, com design renovado e com muito mais tecnologia a bordo.
Revitalização geral >> A montadora com sede em Ingolstadt, Alemanha, renovou totalmente o A5 e, para apresentar a novidade, exibiu a bonita versão cupê de duas portas e quatro lugares. Uma das principais mudanças no modelo é o aperfeiçoamento aerodinâmico. A Audi conseguiu incorporar com mais eficácia o design, aliando-o ao coeficiente de arrasto. A estrutura da plataforma do A5 também é completamente nova, assim como algumas soluções de infotainment e sistemas de assistência ao condutor.
Tradição mantida >> O A5 de 2ªgeração está com o desenho mais moderno e com traços mais suaves, no entanto, não se desvincula totalmente do projeto lançado em 2007, ou seja, segue a carreira agradando aos fãs do estilo já consolidado. Observe com atenção a lateral do carro e perceba como as caixas de rodas estão um pouco mais pronunciadas para fora em relação à geração anterior. O novo A5 mantém proporções equilibradas e continua com o seu longo capô e distância entre eixos esticada. A grade frontal está um pouco mais plana e ampla do que a antiga.
Motorizações >> Para o mercado alemão, a Audi vai lançar esse carro com cinco opções de motores: duas TFSi (gasolina) e três unidades TDi (turbodiesel). A gama agora começa com 190 cv, oferece outra opção de 286 hp, subindo e chegando ao pico de 354 cv na versão 3.0 turbo de 6 cilindros em “V”. Mesmo com potências superiores, todos os motores estão mais econômicos e com menores níveis de emissões. Dentro do line-up há três tipos de câmbio (manual de 6 marchas, automático S-Tronic de 7 velocidades e outra caixa automática Tiptronic de 8 marchas) e opções de tração 4X2 (somente na dianteira) ou a famosa “Quattro” nas 4 rodas.
Muita tecnologia >> Enfim…, completamente renovado, o Audi A5 dá o seu salto evolutivo e, mais uma vez, pela faixa de preço nas suas versões menos caras, tenderá a entrar em “canibalismo de vendas” com o irmão A4. Completíssimo, agora traz opção de suspensão eletrônica auto-ajustável, painel de instrumentos do tipo “Cockpit Virtual” (com display de 12,3 polegadas), tela central de 8,3 polegadas, dentre outros mimos, como por exemplo, a possibilidade de recarga de celular sem fio.
Medidas e opcionais >> O esportivo emagreceu 60 kg e ganhou 10 litros de capacidade no porta-malas, que agora passa a disponibilizar 465 litros para as bagagens. O banco traseiro é rebatível e oferece divisão 40:20:40 e pode ser facilmente dobrado para a frente usando alavancas no compartimento de bagagem. Como opcionais, a Audi oferece, também, abertura da tampa do porta-malas com controle por gestos (através de um movimento do pé) e engate de reboque eletricamente liberado por botão.
Mais tecnologia >> O modelo é compatível com o Apple Car Play e Auto Android. Para quem gosta de música, o seu sistema de som (incrivelmente bem estruturado) é da renomada Bang & Olufsen. Audi launches the second generation of the A5 and features, initially, the coupe version >> In 2007, as an alternative for customers who are not content with the A4, but thought the family too large, the Audi A6 decided to expand its line-up by creating the A5. The model soon became a success and now, nine years later, the german manufacturer launches the second generation of this family that is lighter, with renewed design and with more onboard technology.
The automaker based in Ingolstadt, Germany, fully renovated the A5 and to present the news, exhibited the beautiful coupe version of two doors and four seats. One of the main changes in the model is the aerodynamic improvement. The Audi managed to incorporate more effectively design, allied to the drag coefficient. The structure of the A5 platform is also completely new, as well as some solutions of infotainment and driver assistance systems.
The A5 of 2nd generation is with the most modern design and with softer strokes, however, is not fully released on project unlinks 2007, follows the career pleasing to fans of the style already consolidated. Note carefully the car side as the boxes of wheels are a little more pronounced out relative to the previous generation. The new A5 maintains balanced proportions and continues with its long bonnet and wheelbase stretched. The front grille is a bit flatter and wider than the old one.
For the german market, Audi will launch this car with five choices of engines: two TFSi (gasoline) and three TDi units (turbodiesel). The range now starts with 190 HP, offers another option to 286 hp, up and coming up to the peak of 354 HP 3.0 turbo version of 6 cylinders in “V”. Even with higher powers, all engines are more economical and with lower levels of emissions. Within the line-up three Exchange types (6-speed manual, automatic S-Tronic 7 speeds and other automatic Tiptronic box of 8 gears) and traction 4 x 2 options (just in front) or the famous “Quattro” on 4 wheels.
Anyway, completely renovated, the Audi A5 gives his evolutionary leap and, once again, for the price range on its less expensive versions, will tend to enter in “cannibalism” with his brother A4. Complete, now brings self-tuning electronic suspension option, type instrument panel “Virtual Cockpit” (with 12.3-inch display), 8.3-inch central screen, among other treats, such as the possibility of wireless phone recharge.
The lost weight 60 kg and won model 10 liter capacity in the trunk, which is now providing 465 liters for the luggage. The back seat is foldable and offers division40:20:40 and can be easily folded to the front using levers in the luggage compartment. As optional, Audi offers, too, opening the lid of the trunk with control by gestures (a flick of the foot) and trailer hitch electrically released per the button.
The model is compatible with the Apple Car and Auto Play Android. For those who love music, their sound system (incredibly well structured) is the renowned Bang & Olufsen. The new A5 is available only in Europe from September 2016. In Brazil the machine will arrive a little later.
