Filho único >> Dentre as máquinas futurísticas, uma delas foi o Vision Next 100, uma obra de arte sobre quatro rodas, criada pela inglesa Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. O enigmático automóvel, desenvolvido sob o código 103EX, é o primeiro veículo ´de conceito´ dessa famosa marca britânica que continua sendo a maior referência no mercado de carros superluxuosos.
Imponência & tradição >> Com exatamente as mesmas dimensões do atual Rolls-Royce Phantom (5,9 m de comprimento e 1,6 m de altura), o Vision Next 100 vai muito além dos traços possivelmente imagináveis de um carro do amanhã. O modelo instiga os sentidos de quem o vê pela primeira vez, obrigando a se pensar um pouco antes de traduzir a excêntrica proposta. Jornada espontânea >> Chamada de ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’ (e também apelidada de “A dama alada”), a bela estatueta que adorna o capô dos carros da Rolls-Royce é uma escultura criada por Charles Sykes com inspiração na atriz inglesa Eleanor Thornton. No excêntrico modelo Vision Next 100 – que dispensará motorista, volante, painel de instrumentos, etc… – ela assumirá a função de assistente virtual e chofer. Com sua inteligência artificial, sempre conectada, ela traçará as melhores rotas, relembrará compromissos de agenda e estará sempre vigilante para uma viagem tranquila e segura. Como, provavelmente, não mais existirão motores de 12 cilindros à combustão daqui a 100 anos, o Vision Next 100 vem equipado com um moderno trem de força sem emissões de gases poluentes.
O Grande Santuário >> A Rolls-Royce abre esse capítulo citando uma frase da eterna musa da moda, Coco Chanel: “Simplicidade é o segredo da verdadeira elegância”. O “Grande Santuário”, ou seja, o interior do Vision Next 100 terá aspecto futurista, mas com o requinte das salas de estar de residências de luxo. A peça central da cabine é um belo sofá que parece flutuar. A iluminação suave complementa o rico ambiente imaginado pela marca para o futuro.
A Grande Chegada >> O último ponto relembra o gosto que mulheres e homens poderosos sempre tiveram ao longo dos tempos de marcar a sua posição social por intermédio de chegadas triunfais. Assim aconteceu, por exemplo, na coroação da Rainha Elizabeth I, que utilizou um Rolls-Royce Phantom IV no evento mais importante da sua vida.
