A Cadillac iniciou sua ofensiva de vendas pela Europa. Começará a entregar (a partir de setembro) o luxuoso modelo CT6 ao mercado alemão e logo depois em toda a Europa. Ele será comercializado por 73.500 Euros (Luxo) e 94.500 Euros (Platinum). O CT6 é um dos oito novos veículos que a marca lançará até o final desta década como parte do seu investimento de US$ 12 bilhões reservado à criação de novos produtos e expansão de rede.
Praticamente todo feito em alumínio associado a 11 tipos de metais, o Cadillac CT6 tem o conforto e o espaço de um BMW Série 7, mas é muito mais ágil do que diversos esportivos de pequeno porte. O CT6 é quase 100 kg mais leve do que um veículo do mesmo tamanho feito com carroceria de aço.
O sedã vem equipado com motor 3.0 Twin Turbo com 417 hp de potência e 55 kgf.m de torque. O funcionamento dos cilindros desse motor V6 funciona sob demanda e ele traz caixa de câmbio automática de oito velocidades, além de tração 4X4.
Repleto de tecnologia, o novo CT6 tem o eixo traseiro móvel, freio autônomo, câmera de 360 graus, sistema ´Night Vision´ (que ajuda a identificar pessoas e animais na pista à noite), tela de 10,2 polegadas com acesso a todos os controles de informação e entretenimento, carregamento de telefone sem fio, opcional de Wi-Fi, faróis de LED, assentos em couro com cinco programas de massagem e filtro purificador do ar-condicionado.
