Há alguns anos, o projeto Genesis trouxe ao universo automotivo dos sedãs de alto requinte um concorrente inusitado. O Hyundai Genesis chegou exalando luxo e tecnologia e conseguiu, em muitos mercados, combater frontalmente (e sem muito esforço), oponentes espetaculares como o Mercedes-Benz Classe S e o BMW Série 7, ambos, o máximo do conforto em suas marcas. O sedã Genesis ainda existe, mas a Hyundai decidiu, com o “Genesis New York Concept”, colocar à prova a evolução desse carro. E escolheu o Salão de New York 2016 (evento que encerra-se neste domingo, 3 de abril) justamente para apresentá-lo.

Arte e tecnologia >> Como você pode conferir, o exterior do modelo enfatiza muito a elegância e o alto luxo de um carro feito para continuar concorrendo com os sedãs mais caros do mundo. Para criá-lo, a equipe de design da Hyundai se inspirou no estilo de vida moderno e quis demonstrar, também, “uma expressão vanguardista de arte tecnológica”. A superfície do New York Concept é bastante volumosa e brinca com linhas realmente ousadas. O belo design traseiro >> Os faróis e lanternas traseiras conseguem uma sobriedade diferenciada por serem dispostos na horizontal; e a traseira, com quatro saídas de escapamento e uma ´minissaia´ abaixo do parachoque, completa um conjunto esteticamente muitíssimo agradável. Outro detalhe esportivo maravilhoso do desenho desse carro-conceito, é um ´rasgo´ nos paralamas dianteiros que servem de canalização de fluxo de ar.
Fusão de estilos no interior >> A cabine é extremamente futurista. No lugar do volante há quase um ´manche´ de aviação e tudo é muito ´limpo´ e composto com materiais de extremo bom gosto. Combina-se couro com madeira e metal de um jeito muito harmonioso e há, em todo o interior, uma iluminação em tom azul para acalmar a visão dos ocupantes. O painel de instrumentos divide-se entre uma enorme tela frontal de 21 polegadas e um display curvo lateral. Nesse conjunto são exibidas todas as informações sobre o carro, além dos extras sobre navegação e entretenimento. Para quebrar um pouco esse clima exacerbadamente tecnológico, a Hyundai introduziu instrumentos analógicos clássicos, criando assim uma interessante interação estética que dá leveza e charme ao interior.
Sucessor quase pronto >> O modelo disponibiliza quatro assentos individuais cobertos em couro na cor de cobre. A tecnologia oferecida é de primeira qualidade, com espelhamento de celulares e outras plataformas. É possível selecionar, por exemplo, músicas ou acessos a números de telefones com a voz ou com os dedos num seletor giratório no console. The dashboard is divided between a massive 21-inch front screen and a curved display. In this set are displayed all the information about the car, in addition to the extras on navigation and entertainment. To break a little exaggeratedly technological climate, Hyundai introduced classical analog instruments, thereby creating an interesting aesthetic interaction which gives lightness and charm to the interior.
The model offers four individual seats covered in leather in the color of copper. The technology offered is top notch, with mirroring of cell phones and other platforms. You can select, for example, songs or access the phone numbers with the voice or with the fingers in a rotary dial on the console. According to Hyundai, Genesis New York Concept will be ready to succeed the Genesis G90 with all the comfort that the current car already offers, in this case, safety and technological standards.
