A britânica Aston Martin junto com a Zagato, celebrada casa italiana de design, anunciaram a chegada do Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Concept, a mais recente criação de uma parceria que já dura cinquenta anos. O esportivo fará a sua estreia mundial no badalado ´Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este 2016´, um dos mais charmosos encontros automotivos do mundo, realizado sempre no Lago Como, na Itália.
O Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Concept é o quinto carro criado por essas empresas e, como os outros quatro anteriores, mantém a tradição fundindo as qualidades dinâmicas da Aston Martin com a inconfundível assinatura de design da Zagato. Desde o DB4 GT Zagato de 1960 até o Vantage Zagato V12 de 2011, essa parceria sempre exprime nos carros a mais apurada linguagem de desenho do estúdio Zagato com a performance dos modelos de corrida da Aston Martin.
O bólido foi concebido e teve o projeto conduzido por Marek Reichman e Andrea Zagato em Milão, mas foi desenvolvido e construído na sede da Aston Martin em Gaydon, Inglaterra. A nova carroceria é completamente feita em fibra de carbono e, por causa da utilização de grandes painéis, há poucas divisões no “corpo” desse carro. Os conjuntos ópticos são compostos por faróis com LEDs e as lanternas traseiras redondas mantém o clássico estilo da Zagato em todos os modelos dessa marca.
Fazendo algumas referências a elementos de design contemporâneo da marca, o Vanquish Zagato Concept apresenta espelhos retrovisores e parte da asa traseira inspirados no One-77 e no DB11. Um detalhe estético que merece destaque é o rasgo na parte de trás dos parachoques dianteiros, que já se tornou uma marca registrada da Zagato para a Aston Martin. E mais outro código clássico de esportividade se repete nesse carro: o teto apresenta a icônica ´bolha-dupla´. Essa ideia surgiu na década de ´50 a partir da necessidade de acomodar os pilotos de corrida com os seus capacetes. E os traços se repetem participando, inclusive, do perfil aerodinâmico do automóvel.
O Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Concept vem equipado com motorização aspirada V12 de 600 hp de potência. Por dentro o modelo tem acabamento em tecido Alcântara e fibra de carbono, com detalhes extras em couro vermelho e partes metálicas em bronze. The Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Concept comes equipped with aspirated V12 engine of 600 hp of power.
